POSITION SUMMARY:

10 Conducts training programs and participates in training medical, nursing and other personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives;
11 Orders supplies and equipment as necessary;
12 Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment as necessary;
13 Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and comionate atmosphere that recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited tly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association and certified by the American Physical Therapy Association under its requirements.
JOB SKILLS:
1 Good organizational skills and time management skills.
2 Good verbal and written communication skills.
3 Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required per the State.
PERFORMS RELATED DUTIES:
1 Interacts with residents, families, visitors and employees.
2 Carries out other tasks as requested in situations where hands-on intervention/participation may be required.
